This made me smile this evening… there are two nice easter eggs in the gnome desktop manager.
1) “Run Applications” (alt-F2), enter “gegls from outer space” to get a Space Invaders game.
2) “Run Applications” (alt-F2), enter “free the fish” to get wanda, the fish, swimming around your desktop.

I’ve always been a huge fan of the series. It’s nice to see they are finally shooting a new part.
Here’s a nice suggestion from my friend guruz: To get more time out of your cell phone battery, disable the 3G connection, leaving only the GSM connection open.
This has already made some difference for me, I’ll do some statistics starting tomorrow.

I really like the widgets feature; Instead of putting all the sidebar stuff into one PHP, I can create small functions containing sidebar code that can later be rearranged and en/disabled visually in the WordPress config.
