It worked! This time it worked.
When on vacation in Scotland, it didn’t work: Addressing a picture postcard to the e-mail address of the students representatives’ office. For any technology-acquainted person, the address “fachschaft@informatik.uni-stuttgart.de” locates our office globally and in a quite detailed way. Yet, the postcard never arrived.

This morning I thought I got hacked. It’s not impossible, though quite unlikely, even in Linux. As I said earlier, my laptop harddisk has crashed. A new one @ 150 € isn’t an option, so I looked for a new laptop. Basic limitations:
No ATI graphics card (bad drivers in Linux, bad reputation)
No graphics card not working easily (Intel X3100)

We’ve been to a crevice, the surrounding hills, the solvate fields and a lava field.

Having taken in some energy, I feel much better. How amazing are these showers? The camping site at the entrance of Reyðarfjörður is free of charge and the shows are the most comfortable since the start of the journey:
